U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Celebration

Ring in the festive season and be part of the send-off as the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree begins its journey from the Monongahela National Forest to the heart of the nation’s capital! Gather at Swilled Dog for an afternoon of festivities that celebrate this magical tradition. From live music to kids’ activities, there’s fun for all ages.

Stroll through the artisan market with a hot chocolate in hand and check off some early holiday shopping. Enjoy food and drinks while listening to live music by Mike Eye. Kids activities and appearances by Hooty the Owl and Smokey the Bear makes this a special event for the littles too! Swilled Dog will be showcasing a special holiday cocktail menu and releasing details on a new product just in time for the season.

These are just a few highlights. The main attraction will be a beautiful red spruce making its grand entrance at 2pm. Community members are invited to line the entrance for a special welcome and participate in signing the truck banner.
