Tasting Notes

NOSE:  Predominately fruit and vanilla. Candied caramel popcorn. Light on the other spice aromas.

PALATE:  An easy first sip. Well-balanced sweet flavors of candied corn, creme brulee, and butterscotch. Oak reveals quite nicely with hints of baking spices, fruit and vanilla.

FINISH:  Smooth with a medium finish. Vanilla with hints of nutmeg and allspice.

 

Mountain Mary

  • 2 oz Swilled Dog Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • 5 oz West Virginia Harvest Mountain Mary Ramp Bloody Mary Mix
  • Ice
  • Garnish: celery stalk, pickles, olives, and cheese cubes

Fill a glass with ice. Pour Swilled Dog Bourbon over the ice. Add 5 oz of West Virginia Harvest Mountain Mary Ramp Bloody Mary Mix to the glass. Give the mixture a gentle stir to combine the flavors. Garnish the Mountain Mary with a celery stalk, pickles, olives, and cheese cubes. Optionally, you can add a dash of your favorite hot sauce or ground black pepper for an extra kick.
